3.1 Beta-Glucan-rich extract from Lentinus edodes: The Secreteriat will report the outcome of this postal consultation (paper ACNFP/80/P/2).

4. Refined Echium Oil: The Committee will consider additional information supplied fortheauthorisation of this novel ingredient (ACNFP/80/1)

5. Ice Structuring Protein from GM yeast: The Committee will consider additional information provided by the applicant on their ice structuring protein preparation, and to confirm whether it is able to conclude its evaluation of this novel food ingredient (ACNFP/80/2)

6. Glucosamine from Aspergillus niger: The Committee will be asked to consider further information supplied by the applicant for the authorisation of this novel food (ACNFP/80/3)

7. Baobab dried fruit pulp: The Committee will be asked to consider further information supplied by the applicant for the authorisation of this novel food (ACNFP/80/4).

8. Synthetic Lycopene:The Committee will consider an initial opinion from the Dutch Competent Authority on this novel ingredient (ACNFP/80/5).

9. Phytosterols from Lipofoods: Following a postal consultaion in November (paper ACNFP/80P/1) the Committee is now asked to consider the draft opinion on the substantial equivalence of this novel ingredient(ACNFP/80/6).

10. Astaxanthin rich oleoresin from Haematococcus pluvialis algae:The Committee is asked to consider the text of the draft opinion on the substantial equivalence of this ingredient compared to an existing product (ACNFP/80/7).

11. Effects of GM Soya on newborn rats: Members are asked to consider whether it wishes to revise its statement in the light of further information from Dr Ermakova (ACNFP80/8).

12. Feedback from Annual Meeting of advisory committee chairs (ACNFP/80/9)
